Brendan is our VERY FIRST Core Strength & Performance athlete and the way he came to train with us shows his determination and commitment to improve in his sport. Not many know this but when we first opened, we made a call out to train an athlete for FREE in exchange for their commitment to the program. We made several ads, pushed it out on all social medias and only one person stepped forward, Brendan. We expected a football or basketball player but instead the athlete who took a chance with us was a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since day 1, Brendan shows up every training session with an open mind and commitment to the program. He has improved drastically not only in his strength & explosiveness but overall lean body mass, just ask his teammates who train with him 😉 His strength directly translates to his...

Enlist now to raise awareness for neuroblastoma, an under-funded, little understood form of pediatric cancer through funding research and providing direct financial assistance to families in the fight with this deadly disease. This will be Core Strength & Performance’s 2nd year supporting Wade’s Army, a nonprofit 501(c)3 leading the charge against the pediatric cancer, neuroblastoma. Celebrating the courageous life of Wade DeBruin, ( Sept. 22, 2009-Nov. 12, 2011), we are rallying troops to continue his fight against this disease. Wade’s Army was created to rally against neuroblastoma and give this pediatric cancer a name. Last year, we raised over a hundred fifty thousand dollars in Wade’s name for research and support for families battling the cancer. Wade’s Army offers tax exemptions for individuals and companies that show support.    OUR HERO: WADE DEBRUIN WADE DEBRUIN (2009-2011) Wade DeBruin was born on September 22, 2009. Weighing a healthy 7.4 pounds,...

Most people come through our doors looking to “lose weight and get toned.” The problem is that losing weight is a very ambiguous goal to set and stick to. It is easy to get discouraged by numbers from the untrustworthy scale, but your weight doesn’t tell the whole story. Your body is made up of muscle, fat and water. So losing weight is not the same as losing fat. Likewise, gaining weight may not be all fat gain. The InBody results sheet provides an extensive display of parameters relevant to body composition that can be used to efficiently lose fat, dial in your nutrition, identify muscle deficiencies and more! Through the use of cutting edge bioelectrical impedance analysis, the InBody allows for accurate and noninvasive body composition testing in less than 30 seconds! InBody offers more accurate results than other “gold standard” methods of body composition analysis at a fraction...
